Heartland Harps Delight – Wood 1985

The Heartland Harps Delight is a rare and beautifully voiced 36-string lever harp from a period when Heartland Harps crafted their instruments in wood, before moving to their now well-known carbon fibre construction. Manufactured in 1985, this harp represents an increasingly hard-to-find example of the company’s early craftsmanship.

Presented in fantastic condition, it produces an exceptionally rich, powerful and expressive sound with remarkable projection. Despite its elegant proportions, the Delight delivers a voice that is full, warm and remarkably resonant, making it equally rewarding for solo performance, accompaniment and traditional repertoire. Its mature timber has developed a wonderful tonal character over the years, giving the instrument depth, colour and responsiveness that only time can bring.

This harp has been carefully looked after and is offered through a private sale, providing a rare opportunity to acquire a distinctive instrument with both musical character and historical interest.
