WARRANTY
Your rights
At Harp Shop London, we value our warranty and stand behind it firmly. Harps are designed to handle a lot of tension – for instance, a 34-string harp can bear around 1,200 pounds (about 540 kg), and a Classical harp can stretch up to 2,650 pounds (about 1,200 kg).
No instrument seller can claim that they have never faced any problems with their products. Therefore, the crucial aspect to consider is whether a seller is equipped and willing to assist in case there are any issues with their instruments. We have always prioritised assisting our customers throughout our more than four decades of selling instruments.
Please review the different warranty conditions that may apply to various manufacturers.

USED HARPS
The Harp Shop offers a warranty for used instruments to the original owner against any defects in materials and workmanship for six months from the original date of purchase. Any repairs required during this period will be provided free of charge. However, Harp Shop London will have the final say in repairing or replacing the defective instrument. The owner will be responsible for the shipping charges to and from Harp Shop London.
Please note that this warranty does not cover any damage caused due to string breakage, lever breakage, carelessness, accident, extreme humidity, dryness or temperature, or any repairs or alterations made by anyone other than Harp Shop London. It is advised not to leave the instrument in a parked motor vehicle on a warm day, as temperatures high enough to soften glue (around 115oF or 45oC) can be quickly reached inside a vehicle parked in sun or shade, even with windows partially opened. Any evidence of such an occurrence will void this warranty.
INSTRUMENTS ON CONSIGNMENT
When we sell instruments that we have received on consignment, we cannot offer any warranty. We are not responsible for the instrument’s condition; we are only intermediaries.
